Back in March, a distressed Ukrainian woman gave us some sunflower seeds. Of course we grew them on, and you can see four Ukrainian sunflowers now going to seed, in the community garden. As a Garden of Sanctuary, this space offers a welcome to all who are distressed and displaced. Caring for plants is consoling and our little community is always glad when someone new comes along.
